Job Title: Senior Operations Engineer (AWS)
Location: Porto, Portugal (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: €50,000
The Job:
This is an opportunity to join a leading Digital Experience Platform provider aimed at enhancing user experiences and maximising impact. The platform enables global brands to navigate consumers through their buying journey by delivering the right information to the right customer at the right moment, utilising more channels than any other DXP on the market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform system updates and modify system configurations for customers and other stakeholders.
- Respond to system incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to restore services.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on system status and changes.
- Collaborate with the Support and Operations team and cooperate with the DevOps team to address questions and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools.
- Monitor and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
- Coach team members and coordinate efforts with the Support and Operations Manager.
The Must-Haves:
- Solid experience in system administration, network management, and infrastructure design.
- Proficient in command line (Linux) and scripting languages (Python, bash).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and virtualisation management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools, including Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Loki, and Zabbix.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in a modern agile software engineering environment.
