The Job :
A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Senior Android Engineer to join a world leading provider of forecasting tools & real time streaming content for the sports sector. This is an opportunity to work for a flexible organisation that offers some amazing benefits.
Key Responsibilities :- Collaborate with a team of Android Engineers and a Product Manager to design, develop, and implement new features for Android applications.
- Systematically debug and resolve issues in both existing and legacy applications.Contribute to multiple Android apps, constantly advancing your Android development expertise.
- Regularly deploy code in a fast paced, agile environment, with a strong emphasis on continuous deployment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience developing high quality Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
- Proven experience with at least one app available on the Play Store.
- Strong knowledge of Android development patterns such as MVVM, DI, and Jetpack extensions (e.g., LiveData, Flow).
- Solid experience with unit testing and UI testing (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, CircleCI, Jenkins).
- Fully Remote (Work from home from anywhere within the UK)
