Opportunity for a talented Propulsion Engineer to support the creation, testing, and qualification of advanced propulsion systems tailored for small satellite applications. You will be part of a dedicated team working on developing on the next-generation propulsion technologies, contributing to the development and enhancement of these systems
Key Responsibilities:- Drive improvements to the propulsion system design
- Perform simulations, calculations, and modelling to assess system performance
- Evaluate new propulsion architectures and contribute to system requirement development
- Develop detailed test plans and procedures, analyse results, and verify system requirements
- Support test campaigns and troubleshoot issues alongside the testing team
- Assist in the integration, assembly, and testing of propulsion prototypes
- Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, physical engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience with satellite propulsion subsystems
- 3+ years of experience in the design, testing, and development of satellite propulsion systems
- Familiarity with test software like Python, LabView, or VBA
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in work
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics/thermodynamics/heat transfer
- Practical experience with hydraulic components/vacuum chambers
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
- Programming experience in languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, or Excel
